  • To let you track your shipment.
  • To arrange insurance you have requested.
  • To answer your questions and give customer support.
  • To issue invoices and keep business and accounting records.
  • To keep our website secure and improve it.

We use your data only for these purposes, or for another purpose that is compatible with them. We will ask for your consent before using it for anything else, including marketing.

4. Your consent

We collect and use your personal data with your consent, or where it is necessary to carry out a contract with you, to comply with the law, or to protect our legitimate interests without harming your rights. When you submit a form on our website you will be asked to confirm that you agree to this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer provide some services.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where needed, with:

  • Our own staff, movers and drivers, who see only what they need for your job.
  • Insurers, where you request GIT insurance.
  • Freight, shipping and customs partners, for cargo shipments.
  • Trusted service providers that process data on our behalf, such as our website hosting, email and SMS providers. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities or regulators, where the law requires it.

Anyone who handles data for us must keep it confidential and secure and may use it only on our instructions.

6. Transfers outside Ghana

Some of our providers (for example hosting or email services) or shipping partners may be outside Ghana. Where your data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected.

7. How we protect and how long we keep your data

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to customer records, and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is completely secure, but we work to prevent loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. [For example: quote enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months; customer and invoice records are kept for 6 years.] After that we delete or anonymise it.

If a data breach is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Commission as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Cookies

Our website uses only cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as those that keep your session secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may stop working.
